Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy is the treatment of disease or injury by the use of therapeutic exercises, manual care, modalities and other interventions.

Physical Therapy helps to relieve the pain of acute or chronic conditions, restore function and prevent disability. A physical therapist will:

  • Examine patients by performing specific tests.
  • Evaluate results and make clinical judgments based on the information gathered during a clinical examination, and review of results from other diagnostic studies.
  • Determine and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Evaluate the outcomes of prescribed interventions.
  • Provide prevention and wellness programs.
  • Perform consultations and screenings.
